- 00:12:44.8 We apply a portfolio management approach to managing our various businesses. We believe we have made progress in converting our business structure to enable growth while maintaining profitability, which contributed to our strong performance.
In IAB, we acquired a robot manufacturer and motion controller manufacturer, enhancing our ILOR+S capabilities, and adding a new customer base. At the same time, we divested our Oil & Gas business.
In HCB, we acquired a South American nebulizer manufacturer, NS, giving us top global market share in nebulizers, a sales channel in Brazil, and manufacturing bases in South America, thus strengthening our HCB business. We also divested our hospital-use medical equipment business.
As you can see, even in our growth segments of IAB and HCB, we are actively managing our business portfolio to further improve profitability.
With regard to the Other segment, in response to rapid changes in the operating environment for the backlight business, we are rebuilding this business by selectively focusing on our area of strength.
We will continue to take a portfolio approach to managing our businesses in seeking to optimize for profitable growth.
