What triggered development of SGP was a gap identified between vehicle measurement data and human feelings. In response to the gap, we reviewed measurement accuracy and measurement points, and developed techniques to fill the gap between data and feelings. The embodiment of such efforts is the SGP.
In the future, we will continue with more in-depth research into the human anatomy. While some outcomes of the research initiatives are already incorporated in recent SUBARU models, we will further continue the initiatives to apply more outcomes to future models.
With the further evolution of SGP, we will offer drivers more “enjoyment and peace of mind”. Even in the age of autonomous driving, the character of vehicle platforms will continue to play an important role, so we will further sophisticate it as one of the critical core technologies.
