【ノート】
The next topic is communication between a car and a human. Starting with Forester launched in 2018, SUBARU implemented the DMS designed to monitor driver status. DMS is not only capable of recognizing a person but also it has the functions of detecting driver distraction and drowsiness and of alerting the driver. For the future, we are considering DMS linkage with vehicle controls, such as EyeSight. We also have various other ideas, so please look forward to future system developments. In addition, we launched a new infotainment system in the North America market. In the future, the information collected from and input to vehicles through connected technologies will increase. As this also increases the complexity of operation, it will be more important to have easy-to-understand display indications and for the vehicle to clearly communicate what it is thinking to driver/passengers. SUBARU has launched the world's first mass production cars equipped with a hypervisor system which controls critical instruments such as gauges and infotainment systems including audio and navigation with a single control unit while ensuring security and reliability. We will apply this system globally in the future.
