These charts show the EPA (label) mileage of SUV models in the USA.
On the left is the highway fuel economy of C-segment SUVs, and the right is that of D-segment SUVs.
Forester and Ascent are ranked the highest in their respective segments.
This means our proprietary technologies such as horizontally-opposed engines, symmetrical AWD, and SUBARU Global Platform have successfully delivered the driving performance of AWD together with competitive fuel economy.
Yet, we still recognize the need for further improvement of environmental performance and I would next like to discuss how we will improve environmental performance.
