Finally, I will talk about our BEV. The images of the exterior design study model are shown here.
We are jointly developing a BEV with TOYOTA Motor Corporation.
Again, what our customers expect from SUBARU vehicles are safety, AWD, stability in hazardous weather, and Fun to Drive.
To meet these expectations, we would like to realize a BEV with “superior traction performance with highly-responsive motor control” and “stable handling in any condition based on flexible driving force distribution among the 4 tires” making use of BEV strengths.
We will incorporate all our longstanding know-how of AWD technology and the outcomes of the advanced development we have proceeded in the past into this joint development project and create a BEV that has distinctive “SUBARU-ness”.
