Page 13 describes positive effects on earnings in the Non-Life Insurance Business. Through the reorganization by function, the Group will be able to save time, contain workloads, and achieve fast, sustainable growth. Group companies will be able to demonstrate their own strengths and to offer each other synergy and efficiency. The two core non-life insurance companies have already produced concrete results. They have jointly launched a new overseas crisis management expense insurance product, taking advantage of both companies’ strengths. In voluntary automobile insurance, they have shared each other’s expertise for improving the underwriting balance and the rate of renewals, and also shared initiatives in “motor channels.” Please turn to page 14.
