This slide shows three specific initiatives in the new vision. The first is “Enhance corporate quality,” the second is “Build a strong brand,” and the third is “Sustainable growth based on focus strategy.” By combining these initiatives with “Mono-zukuri (Car-making),” “Sales and service,” and “New mobility domain,” arranged from left to right horizontally, we have prepared a nine-box matrix that summarizes details of the initiatives. “Change the Culture (Corporate culture reforms),” indicated with a “0,” is in fact part of the first initiative, “Enhance corporate quality.” However, in light of the company’s recent scandal, we have separated this initiative from “Enhance corporate quality” in order to stress that it is now or never for corporate culture reforms and have summarized the details of the initiatives using a “nine-box + one” format.
